January 4th, 2011 - Structure Fire

Girard's Rescue went to a residence located Ridge Rd in Springfield for a Fire this evening. Cranesville, Platea, Conneaut, and Lake City also assisted. The house sustained heavy damage.

January 7th, 2011 - Structure Fire

Girard was dispatched to Imperial Point for a Structure Fire. Engine 553, Rescue 558, and Squad 557 responded. Medic 211 arrived on location to find a working fire. Engine 553 crew made initial attack and contained the fire to the kitchen area. Fairview 532 and the West Ridge RIT Team assisted. Lake City also assisted with an engine.

December 30th, 2011 - Website Updates

Just in time for the new year, the A.F. Dobler Hose & Ladder Co. just received some major website updates. A fresh new layout among other features are now available on the new website. Some final changes will most likely be made before it goes live. Renovation of the old website started on Wednesday, December 28th, 2011 at 2:00 AM. In total, the new website took two days to develop spanning an 11 hour time period.

Saturday, December 31st, 2011 - R.I.P. West County

After over 20 years of serving Western Erie County Public Safety agencies, the communications center signed off at midnight on January 1st, 2012. All West County dispatchers will be sadly missed by the agencies they served.
